Unsure whether it is a Gimp or an ufraw bug. I already reported this bug, which is obviously connected with the French localization, to the ufraw team (in version 0.20) and in this forum. It works with Fuji RAF files (even X-Trans), but I have no Canon DSLR, and my wife's Nikon Coolpix S7000 unfortunately does not make raw files… Is this only for Sony ARW files or any RAW image? Have you tested with other camera images such as Canon or Nikon? Yes, the new GIMP splash screen is french. Great job, Partha! I'm happy with the French splash )īut still the same issue which is also found in all 2.8 versions: when the language is set to French, Gimp cannot open Sony ARW raw files through nufraw, probably for the same reasons as before (ARW files being opened as TIFF files), due to some over-localization somewhere (decimal dots converted to commas in numbers?)įrançois Collard (a group admin) edited this topic 83 months ago. The builds include nufraw as the default raw editor. New versions of GIMP/McGimp now available at my website. Also included is the pre-release G'MIC 1.7.8. Just updated my GIMP/McGimp builds - both color corrected and the standard version. The reason to remove it from the 2.9.x series is that it does not work well with high bit depth images. Is the Heal Selection tool back in this version? I noticed it was gone in one of the 2.8.x editions.ĭo you mean heal selection as part of resynthesizer? It's there in the 2.8.14 version on my site. Thanks for putting this together, much appreciated! You can get them here: 10:14AM, 24 July 2016 PST Two new plugins are available: enhanced HDR creation and panorama stitching. Updated to McGimp and GIMP 2.9.5, same as 2.9.4 with the latest git pulls.
